Angela “Antz” Cook brings something in the region of 30 years’ experience of staging pantomimes to bear on her traditional English pantomime scripts – and they all come fully “tried and tested.”

All these pantomime scripts were written for production at The Pavilion Theatre in Whitby, North Yorkshire, by the town’s Apollo Players, the majority of them directed by Antz herself.

Now she is offering her pantomime scripts to a wider audience.

Though written for a theatre stage, all Antzpantz panto scripts are equally at home in village hall or school surroundings and can be staged very simply - or as elaborately as the company can manage.

While she likes to bring an up-to-date slant to her pantos, Antz is a great believer in maintaining pantomime traditions, with a girl playing principal boy and a man the dame, and an immortal “force for good” pitted against a “force for evil” – the Good Fairy and Demon King characters or their equivalents. In Antzpantz pantomime scripts you’ll find all the familiar figures such as the Idle Jack/Simple Simon character and the daft duo or trio, even if they are rubbing shoulders with some new faces. And all those other vital ingredients for a successful show - a strong story line, a good big helping of humour, a chance for the audience to join in and lots for the chorus to do - are all well to the fore.

Antzpantz pantomime scripts also include scope for the company to introduce their own local references, and as well as including suggestions for appropriate musical numbers, the production package also includes notes on characters, props and settings, and black and white artwork for use in publicity purposes.

A single one-off payment for this package enables you to reproduce as many copies of the pantomime script as required  - and for ease of duplication the master copy is provided both on computer disk and as an A4 print-out.
